Australian Skeptics National Convention, Melbourne 25th-27th November 2016
1800 666 996

The Australian Skeptics (Victorian Branch) is pleased to host the 36th annual Australian Skeptics National Convention, at the Carrillo Gantner Theatre at the University of Melbourne. The theme for this year’s convention is ‘Good Thinking’.

This is our 9th national convention in Melbourne and we are very excited about the international and Australian speakers who are joining us, including some of the world’s most noted skeptics such as Lawrence Krauss, Edzard Ernst, Michael Marshall and Harriet Hall. Magician and ‘honest conman’ Nicholas J Johnson is our MC for the convention dinner.

We have received a broad range of submissions, some from first-time convention speakers, and have now finalised the program.

Please note: pre-program coffee/tea and morning/afternoon tea are provided both days of the Convention, but lunch is not provided. There is a large selection of local eateries; here are some suggestions for finding lunch nearby.

Early-bird rates have ended. Tickets at standard and concession rates are now on sale, including single-day tickets.

If you are travelling to Melbourne from afar, please take a look at our accommodation suggestions.
